Far Far North difficulty & progression
Far Far North unlocks only after you finish "Recover black-box data from all three trainwrecks (Far West, Canyon, Area 41)" — this is the last region in the trainwreck chain. The Far Far North secret mission rewards the Cariboo Skin, tracked in the Challenges board as "Complete secret mission (Far Far North)". Most players run it once for the reward and then revisit the map only for grave clears or contracts. Clearing every grave in Far Far North feeds the "Release all souls (Far Far North)" Gravekeeper challenge (1,000 Souls); soul totals accumulate across runs. Difficulty tier 5 is the steepest curve in Early Access — bring a fully-built loadout and a four-stack if you intend to grind for collectibles.
How to unlock Far Far North
All three trainwreck black-box quests (Far West, Canyon, Area 41) must be completed and extracted before Far Far North unlocks. Area 41 itself is questline-locked behind Dr. Spark-Twist on Desert, so the practical chain is: Desert questline → Area 41 → three trainwrecks → Far Far North.

Step-by-step walkthrough
- Find the snowman body on a small hill west of Cariboo (the named NPC area).
- Find the snowman chest under a tall cliff near a zipline in the middle of the map.
- Find the snowman head near the tunnel entrance east of Cariboo.
- Roll each part by walking into it; deliver all three to the unfinished snowman to complete the assembly.
Common pitfalls
- Parts roll on impact — you don't pick them up. Bring a clear lane to the snowman before bumping into a part.
- Reward is a hero skin, not a Joker. The Cariboo skin equips at the Rootin' Tootin' Shop after completion.

Complete all three Trainwreck Data quests — one each on Far West, Canyon, and Area 41. Each wreck requires you to speak to the Railroad Worker, hold the black-box recovery item while standing inside a moving green circle until the progress bar fills, then extract by defeating the run's boss. Once all three black boxes are handed in, Far Far North appears at the very top of the region select.
