Is there a free demo or trial?+
A pre-launch demo shipped under a separate Steam AppID (3819240) during Steam Next Fest. As of 2026-05-08 the demo is no longer downloadable, and Steam doesn't list a free-trial window for Far Far West. Owning the Early Access build is currently the only way to play.
Does Far Far West run on Steam Deck?+
Yes — Far Far West is officially Steam Deck Verified. Default control bindings work without remapping, the game targets 60 fps on Deck hardware, and no graphics-driver workarounds are required for the current EA build.
Is Far Far West coming to PS5 or Xbox?+
Not announced. As of 2026-05-08, there is no official PS5 or Xbox communication from Evil Raptor or Fireshine Games — only Steam. We'll mirror the announcement within hours of any official channel posting it.
When is the 1.0 release expected?+
Evil Raptor has indicated Early Access is expected to run roughly 12 months, which puts 1.0 sometime in 2027 — no quarter, month, or specific date has been confirmed. Any roadmap update will appear on /patch-notes within hours of going live.
Can I play solo, or is it co-op only?+
Both. Far Far West supports 1–4 player co-op and runs solo end-to-end. Tuning scales with party size, but every system — bounty boards, bosses, the daily roulette — is reachable solo. We don't yet have verified comparative difficulty data between party counts.
Is there an official Far Far West Discord?+
Yes. Evil Raptor runs an official Discord linked from the Steam store page; first patch announcements and code drops usually land there before anywhere else. Our /codes page mirrors verified drops within 15 minutes, but Discord is still the canonical channel for live build discussion and direct dev contact.
How do I redeem an in-game code?+
Codes redeem through the Ghost NPC at the lobby — between the Weapon Shop and Spells Shop, top of the stairs, hold F to whisper the code. We document the full flow on /codes/redeem.
Are the build planner numbers playtested?+
No. Damage estimates are computed from public wiki numbers and Steam Community guides. We do not playtest in-game — every build page links to its sources, and any field tagged "unverified" means we couldn't cross-check the value.
How fast does this site update after a patch?+
Patch notes are pulled from the Steam News API every 30 minutes and diffed automatically. Codes are scraped from the official Discord, Steam News, and verified Reddit threads every 15 minutes. Wiki entries are revalidated weekly against their public-wiki source rows.
