Saloon hub — what you do here

Saloon is the only no-combat region in Far Far West — every run starts and ends here. The Weapon Shop sells primary and secondary weapons at fixed gold prices; the Spells Shop rotates spells per visit. The Ghost NPC near the Weapon Shop is where active codes are redeemed (codes deactivate when patched, so re-check the /codes page each session). The Rootin' Tootin' Shop holds every hero skin you've unlocked, including default starters, challenge rewards, and any limited-time event skins still tracked on your account. The Gamba Machine in the back room is the gold-sink mini-game — its odds are not officially published; community sampling puts the expected value below break-even. None of the four shops or NPCs require unlocks to access; you can interact with all of them on your first lobby visit.

Saloon Gamba Machine — odds & strategy

The Gamba Machine is the back-room slot mini-game inside the Saloon. You feed it gold, it returns a randomised cosmetic / consumable / gold reward — there is no published drop table. Evil Raptor has not released official odds, and community sampling (Reddit + Discord pull logs) consistently puts the expected gold-in vs gold-out below break-even. Treat it as a cosmetic spend, not a grinding method: spin once a session for variety, then route the rest of your gold to the Weapon Shop and Spells Shop where conversion is deterministic.

Ghost NPC — Far Far West code redemption

The Ghost NPC stands near the Weapon Shop inside the Saloon and is the only place to redeem in-game codes. Typing a code is case-insensitive in the current build; the reward (gold / consumable / Joker fragment) is delivered to your inventory immediately and is account-bound. Codes deactivate when a patch ships — re-check our active codes list each session before patch day, and again 24 hours after a major update.

Rootin' Tootin' Shop — hero skins

The Rootin' Tootin' Shop is the lobby terminal that holds every hero skin you've ever unlocked — default starters, challenge rewards, shop purchases, and event-locked skins from past playtest windows. Swapping skins is free and instantaneous; gold is only spent the first time you buy a shop-tier skin. Browse our full 22-skin roster for unlock paths and rarity tiers.

Saloon Weapon Shop & Spells Shop

The Weapon Shop sells primary and secondary weapons at fixed gold prices — the inventory is consistent across runs, so you can plan exact gold budgets. The Spells Shop rotates its spell stock per visit, drawing from the school pool you've unlocked. Neither shop is gated; both are available on your first lobby visit. Saloon FAQ

Is the Saloon a fightable map in Far Far West?

No. The Saloon is the lobby town — no enemies or combat encounters spawn here. You return between runs to purchase weapons and spells, redeem in-game codes at the Ghost NPC, equip hero skins at the Rootin' Tootin' Shop, and use the Gamba Machine. Every shop interaction is free to access — no challenge gate or unlock condition.

Where do I redeem Far Far West codes in the Saloon?

Codes redeem at the Ghost NPC inside the Saloon, near the Weapon Shop. Type the code exactly as written (case-insensitive in current build) and the reward delivers to your inventory immediately. Active codes are listed on our /codes page and we verify each one against the in-game shop before publishing.

What is the Gamba Machine in the Saloon?

The Gamba Machine is the lobby's gold-sink slot mini-game. You spend gold for a randomised reward — Evil Raptor has not published official odds, and community sampling consistently puts the expected gold-in-vs-reward ratio below break-even. Treat it as a cosmetic spend, not a farming method.

Do I need to unlock anything to enter the Saloon?

No. The Saloon is always available — it's the entry point of every run. No challenge, questline, or trainwreck progression is required.

About this Saloon hub guide

Region biome, difficulty tier, unlock chain, and POI categories are independently compiled from publicly available game data. Secret mission walkthroughs are cross-referenced against at least three independent guides; specific step numbers and entry points are verified against community video footage. We don't playtest in-game — absolute grind durations are illustrative and may vary with party size and loadout.
